I am assuming this is a spot that i can post my genius toward any topic i want. Hmmmm... Ahh finally my moment is arrived.

I hate Ohio State! Plane and Simple. For damn good reasons too. I mostly started hating them around 1999-2000 in spite of the fans (most will agree that is a good enough reason) because i was just sick of all of this Ohio state football UC basketball fan garbage. It really hit home pretty hard when recently Ohio State played UC in a football game and many people rooted for Ohio State because of their chances to get into the Championchip. Let me tell you this. I have a Favorite team and then i may also root for somebody else, but i never root for anybody over my top team (UC, Bengals, Reds). The idea that I was watching the game with a bunch of guys that were rooting in the opposite direction just a month earlier because the shape of the ball was different made me sick. Those fans are cowards and i dare any of them to prove themselves otherwise.

Also, the fact that Ohio State wont play us year after year in both sports makes no sense. So, they play us in football every great now and then (go figure once we start having some success they wus out of a game played in this city [and they are paying $1,000,000 to play there for a competitive advantage. sounds like the yankees) but in basketball they wait till we have our worst year in recent history -there best recruiting class since the school started- and then they play us and refuse to after that. I dont get it? We are both established schools within the same state we should play at least every 3 or 4 years! Don't tell me we arent established or big enough for OSU because they obviously dont care about that (look at the recent football schedules)! Is it because of us whooping them back in the day or are we a threat to there recruiting? Can an OSU fan (that typically lost all sense of logic when they became a sports fan) please explain this to me?

if you root for the same team all the way through in both sports, thats loyalty. If you root for whos the best of each sport, thats cowardly!

I hate them more than the steelers!

Carson Palmer will be MVP (just sayin)

Paul - This is one of your best blogs ever! The Blank Canvas. Why haven't any artists tried this before? Leave the art for the beholder to imagine. Way cool!

BTW, since your "Enough" blog suggests you need more humor in your life I'd like to post a quote from a Bengal admirer:

"As long as I've been doing this, I've never been able to get an extension like this, basically because of the time remaining on the contract. It's historical. And it's a testament to . . . Bengals management for the way they have handled this and the commitment they've made to him."

Who flattered Mike Brown and the Bengals so effusively, you ask? Why, none other than Ocho Me-o's mouthpiece Drew Rosenhaus. He heaped this lavish praise upon the Bengals organization a mere two years ago. I'm still laughing but it makes me sick.

hey 3:08 Im not sure where the OSU topic came from as it seems a bit off topic. Oh well, despite that, I couldnt agree more with you. I cant stand ohio state and their fans. They are the most delusional fans on the planet. And I also agree that osu refused to play UC in B ball for years, then finally decide to play them when UC stinks and OSU has their best recruiting class ever.

I dont like the b ball team but I absolutely despise the football team.

Agreed, agreed, and agreed...

Arrogance oozes from the Ohio State pores just as it does the Yankees. Good comparison.

A few years ago, when Ohio State was in the BCS championship game, some friends and I gathered at an Ohio State alum's house. This particular alum doesn't know and/or care about sports whatsoever. Yet somehow he suddenly decided to flaunt Ohio State's success in the faces of UC fans and anyone else he could.

Any coincidence this "friend" stopped talking to me about 2 years ago? Despite asking calmly what the problem is, all I've gotten is refusal to talk.
